Ronald McDonald House
Our Ronald McDonald House programs, located near top children’s hospitals, allow parents who are far from home to stay close to their hospitalized child and benefit from the comforts of home without incurring hotel and food costs. Ronald McDonald Family Room programs offer a quiet respite for all families right in the hospital. And Ronald McDonald Care Mobile programs bring fundamental medical and dental care to underserved communities.
Children’s Hospital Colorado
Several of Children’s Colorado’s colorectal families run into challenges when it comes to their health insurance denying the coverage of necessary medical supplies and needs. In addition to navigating their child’s unique health journey, families face additional stressors when they learn that they need to pay for these supplies outright (such as Malone catheters, ACE stopper, Saline Solution, Castile Soap, Liquid Glycerin, Imodium, and Laxatives). This is when philanthropy can play a role in helping our patient families, allowing Children’s Colorado to purchase these supplies & offer them to patient families in need. As a part of our mission, Beyond Basics works to achieve literacy for everyone, transforming the lives of students and creating stronger communities.
We guide and support at-risk children to develop fundamental educational skills. Above all else, we move these children beyond the basics and prepare them for productive and meaningful lives.
